How do I access my client office?
You must use your email address to access the client office. If you forgot your password, simply click "forgot your password?" to get a new one. If the system doesn't recognise your email address, please contact us.
How do bonuses work?
Many of our first-time clients are new to Fx trading. Our bonuses are designed to help instill confidence when trying Direct Trader. On small deposits, it also allows for a boost in equity. We are so confident in our products and services that we offer withdrawals on bonuses when: 1.) Each client who receives a bonus trades at least 1 lot for every $1 in bonus and 2.) Client does not withdraw funds before condition no. 1 is met. Additionally, clients who withdraw before bonus condition is met will forfeit any profit made while bonus was applied to the account. Clients have 30 days to claim any bonus that meets both conditions. Unfortunately, only one bonus can exist on an account at a time (we will apply the larger bonus).
When will my bonus be applied?
All deposits are monitored by our compliance department and once verified, bonuses will be applied to qualifying accounts. Please allow up to 24 hours for this process to fully complete.
Do we offer MetaTrader 4?
No, we only support HTML-based software that is not compatible with MT4.
Can I use my credit/debit card to make a deposit?
Yes! We now offer secure funding through the Cryptocurrency Payment Gateway developed by our liquidity providers Match-Trade technologies. You can buy bitcoin with your credit card or bank account.
What fees do you charge?
At Sandton Direct we make trading as cost-efficient as possible. Our spreads are only .3 pips on average, and we do not charge fees to deposit and withdraw funds (except withdrawing by bank wire or certified check). For more details, please see Important Information on Fees.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
For all accounts, please login to your client office to reset your trading account password.
Where are we located?
Sandton Limited is our parent company with registered office in Dubai, UAE. Our trading, sales, and partner offices are located in, London, UK, and Warsaw, Poland. We are an international company and conduct client support through our main email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
How do I withdraw funds?
Withdrawals can only be requested from inside your client office. Select 'Profile' from the left-hand main menu and be sure to add/update your bank details. We guarantee all requests will be reviewed within 24 hours. Please ensure that you follow all instructions in any follow-up emails generated by us.
How long do withdrawals take?
This depends on the method in which funds are being returned. Bank transfers can take from 2 to 3 business days. Once we process your first withdrawal, you will get a better sense of the time it takes for funds to reach you. The time-frames for all withdrawal methods and the fees charged can also be found here.
How do I get a copy of my statement for tax purposes?
Since we do not report client earnings to any tax authority, all account activity can be accessed in DirectTrader. Select the 'history' tab, your search criteria, then 'load data'. You can then choose to print (to printer or .pdf) or export to .csv file.
Is your business operation regulated?
Yes. Sandton Direct only partners with fully licensed and regulated businesses. We are a registered International Business Company since 2013 (IBC21786) by the Financial Services Authority and ICC 20160204 in Dubai, UAE (Sandton Limited).
What banks do we use for company and client funds?
Sandton Direct uses Noor Bank and Emirates NBD to facilitate in the management of client funds. Client funds are always held in separate accounts as we are not permitted to use these funds for company business.
Why can't I login to Direct Trader and/or the mobile platform?
Your password is case sensitive, make sure you are typing it correctly. You can also copy and paste to ensure accuracy, keeping in mind not to include any spaces before or after your password. Please make sure your password is secure as software updates now require more complex passwords. You can update your password in the client office using the desktop PC.
I can login to the platform, but why can't I place a trade?
Your account is not yet enabled for trading. We are waiting for certain documents from you or you have not yet met the minimum deposit requirement.
What position sizes can I trade with Sandton Direct?
Sandton Direct offers trading in Standard Lots (100k), Mini Lots (10k) and Micro Lots (1k)
What is the minimum deposit to open an account?
There is a minimum deposit requirement of USD 100 to open an account at Sandton Direct. Please note that we cannot accept any bank wire for less than USD 1000.
Can I trade CFDs with Sandton Direct?
Sandton Direct offers trading in precious metals (gold, silver, copper), currencies and binary options, and other commodities. We do not offer trading in CFDs at this time.
What is the leverage that Sandton Direct provides?
Sandton Direct provides leverage up to 1:500, however, 1:200 is the typical account leverage. Use of leverage is monitored and may be restricted based on client account size. High leverage will only be granted to clients who have adequate funds on deposit. If margin falls low in any account, we reserve the right to close positions and adjust leverage leading into the weekend or high impact news events. Clients are urged to keep adequate margin in their accounts at all times.
Is hedging allowed?
Yes, Sandton Direct allows clients to hedge any or all of their positions as a means to manage risk.
Is scalping allowed?
Yes, scalpers are welcome. Sandton Direct does not place any restrictions on scalping.
